The GUARDUS™MES Action Management module actively supports the process of continuous improvement. Since it is a central collecting and coordination centre, all the actions from CAQ, PDA and MDA are collected here. Among these are the audits, the incoming inspections, the production errors and the process violations, as well as 8D-reports and customer and supplier complaints. Defined actions and To-Do lists are automatically scheduled and dates set for review. Open and overdue actions are immediately sent for processing. This creates a knowledge database which provides all users with targeted information like parts history, and a list of all actions, causes, comments and respective execution. This information is accessible from any site by virtue of the GUARDUS Web Browser.
