GUARDUS™MES supports the whole process of initial sampling also known as first article inspection, from planning and execution through version management and status administration up to the inspection report and release. To configure content standard forms based on VDA 2 and ISO 9000 are available, individualized forms and requirements can also be integrated in the operation by means of an integrated form designer. In case of re-sampling, characteristics already collected are automatically used including specifications such as limits test instructions or testing systems. The integration of CAD systems and measurement equipment also reduces the sampling effort considerably. The result of the initial sampling is subsequently included in the test planning. This integration secures the compliance and support of the ISO-chains. Thus, in the incoming goods tests, only initially sampled and cleared products are accepted, and only tested parts are manufactured in production.
