GUARDUS MES solutions provide an extensive set of modules designed for quality and production management. Four components are used across modules which allow process oriented customization of interfaces and content.

The GUARDUS designer provides the tools so that graphical user interfaces at each work position can be adapted to a user, a tool or a process. Thus, users get the required forms and function needed to perform their activity.

Another important element within process management is the GUARDUS MES Workflow Manager.  This module provides configuration and a management assistant to automate information processes.  Intuitive interfaces lead the user through graphical workflow definitions and allow easy monitoring of workflow events.

The Document Management module found in GUARDUS MES enables the assignment of any document to particular items such as projects, 8D reports, lab reports, inspection plans, RMAs. User authorizations are controlled through an integrated authorization concept defined by corporate needs.

The GUARDUS KPI-cockpit is integrated across modules to provide key performance indicators based on the upcoming ISO 22400 standard and VDMA norms 66412 part 1 and part 2. The cockpit provides timely indicators based on machines, products, processes, and suppliers. The cockpit can also be used daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly reports to upper management.

The GUARDUS KPI Methodology for root cause analysis also allows rapid identification of product, process, and quality defects as well as issues with suppliers, the immediate elaboration of corrective actions and the validation of their effectiveness.
